TIKAL NATIONAL PARK
The national park holds the sacred grounds of the ancient Mayan city of Tikal, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its massive temples rising above the canopy forest alongside rich biodiversity.
The park is home to the ruins of Tikal, which was a major Mayan ceremonial, cultural, and commercial center that peaked around the 8th century CE.

PACAYA VOLCANO
Pacaya is an active volcano in Guatemala, It is popular for day hikes from Antigua due to its accessibility and frequent activity, which includes smoke, ash, and sometimes visible lava flows. A poular site for hiking, allowing visitors to see cooled lava fields and sometimes roast marshmallows on hot spots.

THE SANTA CATALINA ARCH
The Arch in Antigua, is Guatemala's most iconic landmark. The arch was built in 1694 to allow nuns to cross the street unseen between their convert and a school. A tower clock was added later.
